I intended to post this a while ago, but was reminded of it at an event this week with Mr. Brokaw. He describes the “international network of computers.” Gates tells him we’re a long way away from having a thin, portable display that acts as a book. A classic piece of history and wonderment at a technology with an impact even they couldn’t properly foresee.

When creating advocacy videos for YouTube or other electronic media, the general rule is to make it shorter than 5 minutes. Even better is 3 minutes. Then, why is Barack Obama’s campaign churning out 20 minute videos? Because people are watching them.

Wish I could say I’ve never used a line sitter.  But, seriously.  Who wants to wait in line for a committee hearing when you can get some smelly guy to do it for you?
